All purchases on FileBlade are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") as our authorized Merchant of Record. Refund requests are handled by Paddle in accordance with Paddle's Refund Policy.
1. Statutory Rights
Depending on your country of residence, you may be entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation:
- European Union, EEA, Switzerland, United Kingdom — Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from a purchase and receive a full refund, starting from the date of the Transaction.
- Turkey / Israel — Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw.
- South Korea / Brazil / China / Canada — Consumers have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel after delivery and receive a full refund.
- Singapore — Consumers have a 5-day right to cancel after delivery or first access and receive a full refund.
Where local consumer protection laws provide additional or non-waivable rights, the highest level of protection will always apply.
2. Discretionary Refunds
Outside of statutory rights, Paddle may issue a refund at its sole discretion if a request is submitted within 14 days of the Transaction date. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and submission does not guarantee approval. Paddle may approve a full refund, a partial refund, or decline the request.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please visit paddle.net or use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your Transaction confirmation email. If approved, refunds will be processed using the same payment method where possible and within 14 days of approval.
4. Effect of Refund
If a refund is issued, access to the relevant product or service will cease immediately.
5. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact Paddle at paddle.net before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank. If a chargeback is initiated, access to the Service may be temporarily suspended while the matter is reviewed.
Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour. FileBlade may also cancel a subscription without compensation in the event of nonpayment, payment dispute, or violation of any terms of this Agreement.
